De Algemene Werkgeversvereniging Nederland highlights successful examples of inclusive employment in the “National examples bank of inclusive employment. The example bank shows many examples of employers who have made a difference by hiring candidates with distance from the labor market. Also represented are companies that have adapted their labor market communications to different diversity groups.

AWVN believes that an inclusive employer leverages the added value of diversity in their organization and allows employees with disabilities to work “to the best of their ability. These are often employees with mental, physical or chronic illness/disorders. Other vulnerable groups in the labor market include ex-prisoners, long-term unemployed elderly and status holders. Een inclusieve werkgever zorgt ervoor dat de werknemer zijn mogelijkheden en talenten optimaal kan benutten en zo een waardevolle bijdrage kan leveren aan de onderneming.

AWVN collects examples from all 35 Dutch labor market regions and shares inspiring texts and videos from large companies and SMEs through the national examples bank. The examples come from different sectors: hospitality, (renewable) energy, mobility, process industry and more. This offer is unique for a Dutch employer organization. By inspiring employers with real-life stories, AWVN contributes to the appreciation of differences in the workplace. Moreover, this initiative contributes to the realization of the jobs agreement.
