Amsterdam Diverse & Inclusive (ADI) is an online platform that aims to inform businesses on diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The platform is set-up by Diversity at Work and the City of Amsterdam. It is an online community that bolsters diversity and inclusivity across businesses in the city of Amsterdam. Together with our community, we create inclusive content, organise webinars and video Q&A’s, which deliver effective knowledge and tools to Amsterdam’s entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations.
Small and medium size business
ADI is the answer to a growing need and wish of mainly small to medium businesses that strive to improve diversity & inclusion in their company culture. For example: with 180 nationalities Amsterdam is a rapidly growing international city, but this diverse international aspect is not always reflected in the workforce of small to medium enterprises. Besides diversity in cultural background, ADI evenly focuses on gender balance, working ability, age diversity and LHBTQ+ diversity. ADI strives for more diversity in the workplace in this broad sense and helps companies successfully benefit from a diverse and inclusive company culture.
How ADI helps
Integrating diversity and inclusion in the workplace is sometimes challenging, especially for businesses that do not have capacity or large funds to change their strategies. ADI aims to help these businesses, small or large, to still embrace diversity & inclusivity and work towards a better representation of different talents and capacities in their company. We do this by connecting you to other businesses that already have great experience in the field.

Amsterdam UMC is het academisch ziekenhuis van Amsterdam. Voorop staat de behandeling van patiënten. Daarnaast wordt in Amsterdam UMC veel medisch-wetenschappelijk onderzoek verricht. Derde hoofdtaak is het verzorgen van onderwijs en opleiding. In de organisatie zijn twee medische faculteiten opgenomen (VU en UvA).
