Its diverse programme attracts an exceptionally diverse and idiosyncratic audience from home and abroad, making the stage on Lijnbaansgracht a vital part of the Amsterdam cultural experience. In 2019, the Melkweg received a record 545,000 visitors for 1,250 programmes.
