We Technology, the development fund of employer and employee organizations for the technical installation industry, motivates all professionals to develop their talent and knowledge to the fullest. The fund wants to specifically attract young people to technical vocational training and here it is betting on combining it with sports.
Using aikido (Japanese martial art) exercises, students in these workshops experiment with timing, distance and balance. Thus, they experience how knowledge about the human body combined with technology is necessary if you want to program a robot, for example. We Tech likes to give both schools and technical installation companies the opportunity to get young people excited about engineering. With the ‘Aikido and Technique’ workshops, they bring schools and companies together to introduce young people to technology in a playful way.
For schools and businesses, this workshop is free below if there is a partnership with an installation company in the area. Check www.technieknederland.nl or www.nvkl.nl to find professionals in the area.
