More and more companies in the city are attracting diverse staff. Only, these staff sometimes turn out to leave the company quickly. This ‘revolving door effect’ is a consequence of the lack of an inclusive culture in the workplace. When that culture is lacking, employees who do not belong to the majority group will feel less at home and leave more quickly. Diversity therefore goes hand in hand with working towards inclusion. In this fourth ADI webinar, we therefore ask the question: ‘how do you achieve an inclusive culture in the workplace?’ We talk about this with expert Sherida Zorg, manager of diversity at the Rijksmuseum. With her, we look at the importance of raising awareness and daring to question the norm critically. And with trainer Arjan Verdooren (KIT Royal Tropical Institute), we explore how to communicate more inclusively among yourselves in the workplace.

‘Working towards an inclusive climate is something you do together’ with Sherida Zorg, manager Diversity. The Rijksmuseum is a museum of and for everyone. To realise this ambition, Sherida works daily to raise awareness in the organisation.
