W+K & ADI

In the below (English) article from I Amsterdam, they discuss their vision, the importance of diversity for their work, as well as the benefits of being based as a company in a hyper-diverse city like Amsterdam. For instance, Blake Harrop, managing director of W+K Amsterdam, argues that it is relatively easy to find diverse talent in a city like Amsterdam where an awful lot of different nationalities are present and represented. However, you have to make an effort to bring in and keep these talents. Harrop emphasises the importance of having different perspectives within a team – not only for the social good, but especially to be able to offer the most creative and inclusive product possible to your clients and customers. About Amsterdam – Diverse & Inclusive says Harrop:

“I was put in touch with ADI after getting in contact about a law which prevents us making diversity data public with regards to gender and race. I’m very encouraged to hear that the city is putting in place initiatives to share information, find good solutions, and make sure that everyone has access to that”
